Get your class together and tell us, in the most creative way, your school's blueprint for a new environmental initiative and we'll help make it happen!

Submit a short video, up to 5 mins long, before March 10 and you could win $3,000 for your school and  SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE prize packs with movie tickets for everyone in your class.

PUTTING TOGETHER AN ENTRY

We invite primary school teachers and your students to tell us about an initiative you want to undertake at your school to reduce your environmental footprint.

WHO CAN ENTER

  • Australian primary school students may enter. Only 1 entry per class will be accepted
  • Your School must be registered for the 2017 Schools Clean Up Day (Friday 3 March, 2017).

All classes entering the award will need the approval of their Principal to enter. A Teacher should be nominated as the contact person for the entry and submit the entry on behalf of the class.

Record a video, no longer than 5 minutes in length, of your students talking about an environmental project they want to develop and deliver in your school.
The video doesn't need to be professionally made. It could be shot using a camera or a mobile phone. It's the content that is important!

National Winner

The winning entry will receive:

$3,000 to be allocated to delivery of the winning project

Smurfs merchandise pack and in-season movie ticket to students in the winning class (up to 30 units)

2nd and 3rd place winners will receive in-season movie ticket for students in the winning class (up to 30 units per class).

 Please note that the in-season ticket prize is time sensitive, available from March 30 in VIC & QLD and from April 6 in other states. Please check with your local cinema for session times. If a student does not redeem the prize while the film is showing in cinemas, then the prize will be forfeited and no substitute or replacement prize need be offered. 

KEY DATES:

  • Competition Opens Monday 30 January 2017
  • Competition closes Friday 10 March 2017
  • Winner will be announced Friday 17 March 2017
  • Prizes distribution Monday 20 March 2017
